I Loved their program and got the job in 3 months! (80K) like my friend that brought me into this course (he got the job in 4 months, 87K) highly recommended. what you do really need is preparation for the interview, resume & LinkedIn with experience and references, confidence, following instructions and speaking English. Nope, they actually said that "the certificate that you will get - you will never need it, because companies will never ask you for certificates in QA in US, so you will get one, but the only people that might need it will be your parents". All you people crying, look for a mindless job better suited to simple intellect. Born and raised in US, looking for a career change and chance to work remotely. I completed the course, loved it, and the instructors and mentors are very supportive. 95% if these students are lazy and just want to be spoon-fed. You need to study a lot and put in the effort. You do need to study and learn for this class, so it’s definitely not sound too good to be true. Why don’t they feel entitled from their Bachelor’s degree when they paid $400,000 for it yet here, you cry bc you pay $700 for ISA. Asking dumb questions, I don’t know how the instructors don’t go crazy bc these people ask the same dumb questions over and over again. They don want to put any effort into finding a job or self researching (which you should do in life, not just this class). Lol the majority of people taking the class need to be coddled and spoon fed info. My job history is not very long and to be honest I don't have very much experience with applying or interviewing for jobs).ĮDIT: I want to edit as I’ve gotten a lot of messages and comments asking… I did not do the course and will not in the future do it and more or less agree with all the negative comments against it.

Careerist is one month (though it seems drawn out) plus the post course interview prep and internship, which appeals to me as I am really trying to change careers and am nervous about my ability to successfully find any potential jobs on my own (I do not have any tech background, I stumbled into 3D printing but that was a few years back now and I have been doing online teaching for the last three years. I was looking at other ASTQB accredited ISTQB foundation test courses and they are of similar cost ($1000-2000) but for only 3 days. I don't believe either, but what still has my interest is they claim a lot of job and interview prep as well as a post course internship for experience.

The webinar I attended today bothered me in that it was really pushed as being so easy anyone could do it and heavily reminding that they can all but guarantee you a 75k+ job within six months. I am hesitant because it does seem way too good to be true, with almost exclusively positive reviews and some questionable reddit comments about it. So I did some reading around the sub and I saw a couple questions on it, not sure if anyone has an updated opinion.
